Johnny Cueto turned in another dazzling outing against the Pirates on Friday, allowing just one run on seven hits in a complete game victory.
Cueto only recorded four strikeouts in the game and didn't walk a batter. He was in control all night, mixing his pitches well and locating everything nicely. He needed just 110 pitches to complete the masterful performance. With the victory, Cueto improves to 4-0 and now owns a sparkling 1.31 ERA. If the season ended today, he'd be considered a strong favorite for the NL Cy Young Award. Cueto will go in search of victory number five when he takes on the Brewers in Milwaukee next week.
