Brandon Morrow turned in his second career shutout Thursday, throwing a three-hitter against the Angels.
Morrow has turned in three outstanding starts in a row, allowing just one run in 21 2/3 innings. Of course, they all came against struggling offenses, but Morrow certainly has the stuff to beat anyone when he's on. This may well prove to be his breakthrough season. However, since he is a candidate to break down with the likely heavier workload to follow, this probably isn't a good time to think of trading for him.
