Detwiler outstanding again, Nats top D'Backs
Ross Detwiler - S - Washington Nationals
May 3, 2012 - 10:15 PM ET

Ross Detwiler turned in his fifth consecutive strong start on Thursday, limiting the Diamondbacks to just one run on three hits over 6 1/3 innings.

Detwiler struck out two and walked three in the game. Some criticized the Nationals' decision at the end of the spring to hand Detwiler the fifth starter's spot, but he's been absolutely terrific to this point with a 3-1 record and 1.59 ERA. He's been a big part of the reason why the Nationals have been so successful to start the season, and needs to be owned in all leagues at this point. He'll look to continue his domination of the National League when he squares off against the Pirates in Pittsburgh on Wednesday.
