Longoria out 6-8 weeks with torn left hammy

The Rays confirmed Tuesday that Evan Longoria has a partially torn left hamstring and is out 6-8 weeks.
Longoria suffered the unfortunate injury Monday while running the bases. The Rays used Elliot Johnson at third base on Tuesday night but will likely feature a number of different players at the hot corner over the next two months. Longo was batting .329/.433/.561 with four home runs and 19 RBI in 23 games played.
