Parmelee exits after getting plunked in head
Chris Parmelee - 1B - Minnesota Twins
April 25, 2012 - 10:50 PM ET

Chris Parmelee exited Wednesday's game in the sixth inning after being hit in the head with a Justin Thomas fastball.

Parmelee went down immediately after being beaned with the 93 mph heater, but the good news is that he was able to walk off the field with little assistance from the trainers. He should be re-evaluated Thursday, but, at the very least, he figures to miss a few games.
