Jeff Samardzija tossed 6 2/3 innings of scoreless ball in Tuesday's extra-innings win over the Cardinals.
Samardzija had it all working on a cold night at Wrigley Field, striking out nine batters and walking just two while allowing only four hits. His ERA is still uninspiring at 4.12 and so is his WHIP (1.42), but the former Notre Dame wideout may be a worthy fantasy streamer this year in matchups that look friendly.
