CC Sabathia goes eight strong

CC Sabathia went eight innings against the Rangers Monday, giving up four runs on seven hits and walk while striking out eight in the 7-4 win.
A two-run double by Craig Gentry in the seventh inning meant Sabathia didn't officially notch a quality start, but he was certainly quality in this one in a tough matchup in Arlington. The big left-hander has now punched out at least seven batters in each of his four starts and lowered his ERA to 5.27 and WHIP to 1.24. He'll get the Tigers this weekend.
