Junior dos Santos vs. Alistair Overeem is set for UFC 146.
The UFC officially announced on Tuesday that the heavyweight title fight has been signed for UFC 146, which is set to take place May 26 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Dos Santos captured the title in November when he knocked out then-champion Cain Velasquez in just 64 seconds. Overeem set himself up as the No. 1 contender in December when he ended Brock Lesnar's career via first-round TKO.
According to BestFightOdds.com, dos Santos (14-1) enters the fight as a slight -160 favorite, while Overeem (36-11, 1NC) is around a +140 underdog.
Other fights expected to take place at UFC 146 are Jason "Mayhem" Miller vs. C.B. Dolloway, Dan Hardy vs. Duane Ludwig and Jacob Volkmann vs. Paul Sass. The undercard will air live on FX, while the main card will be available on pay-per-view.
