Lions president Tom Lewand says Jahvid Best (concussions) is "on pace" to be ready for the team's offseason program.
Lewand made the comments in a Tuesday conference call with season-ticket holders. It's the first update on Best's status since MLive.com reported in late January "many within the (Lions') organization" were concerned Best's career might be over. Earlier on Tuesday, the Detroit Free Press reported Best's status "remains uncertain." He remains a risky keeper option for fantasy players in dynasty leagues.
