Rams want to speak to Omar Khan

The Rams have asked permission to interview Steelers chief contract negotiator Omar Khan regarding their GM vacancy.
The 35-year-old Khan has been a Steelers exec since age 24, and he knows a thing or two about how to balance a salary cap. Laden with big contracts, Pittsburgh's roster has rarely allowed for much wiggle room. The Rams would need permission to speak to Khan, and it's unknown whether they've got it.
