According to the Seattle Times, Kyle Seager isn't considered a lock to make the Mariners' Opening Day roster.
Seager has minor league options left and his performance last season wasn't strong enough to guarantee him a spot on the 25-man roster. Chone Figgins isn't going anywhere because of his contract and could even hit leadoff at times. The M's have also brought veteran infielder Carlos Guillen into the fold.
