Q School graduate Kris Blanks was given four starts on a Major Medical Extension to earn $257,451 and retain status.
Blanks didn't play in an official event after missing the cut at the John Deere Classic in July, thus qualifying for the MME. His successful run at Q School secured the safety net required to remain on the PGA TOUR in all of 2013, but he'd be subject to the reshuffle if he can't meet the terms of the medical. Even so, that he broke par in every round at PGA West to finish T4 suggests that he's a green light for deep formats.
