Santana Moss in decline going on age 33
Santana Moss - WR - Washington Redskins
Jan. 27, 2012 - 1:45 PM ET

The Washington Post suggests that Santana Moss lacks "the quickness and explosiveness to get open consistently" going on age 33.

Moss returned from hand surgery in Week 12 of the 2011 regular season and failed to clear 50 yards in all but one of the final six games. OC Kyle Shanahan confirmed that the Skins will eyeball playmaking wideouts this offseason. "We do need to make more plays," Mike's son said. "The one thing that hurt us the most was every touchdown pass we made was caught in the end zone. There wasn't one that was caught outside the end zone and ran in until Week 16 when (RB Roy) Helu caught that screen versus Philly."
