McLaurin turned in one of the best years of his career in his first season with Jayden Daniels at the helm. The veteran receiver caught 82 passes for 1,096 yards and a career-high 13 touchdowns after never surpassing more than seven scores in his previous five seasons. McLaurin has one year left on the three-year extension he signed in 2022 and will turn 30 shortly after the start of next season. He has plenty left in the tank and is again expected to serve as the Commanders’ WR1 despite the team acquiring Deebo Samuel this offseason. He’ll make for a high-upside WR2 for those taking shots on him in fantasy drafts next season.

Now that’s what we want to hear. It would have been really silly given the current look of the roster for the Jets to not forcefeed Wilson — we’re talking about a depth chart where Allen Lazard is an easy No. 2 target — but it’s always good to hear some validation behind the idea. The overall talent level of the Jets offense may cap Wilson’s ceiling, but he looks like a great bet to rebound from a down 2024 spent watching Aaron Rodgers throw at other targets.

Not exactly re-assuring news for Hall in re-draft leagues this year. The Lions, of course, managed to create fantasy value for both David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs. But it is much harder to reliably project a back for fantasy points if they don’t get a full slate of touches. It sounds like both Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis could be factors in the Jets backfield. Hall is entering the final year of his rookie deal and the way Glenn presents this, it sounds more like he’s the head of a committee than a true three-down back this year.

Harbaugh is fresh off signing a three-year extension of his own. Now, the long-time coach is on record saying a new deal could be in the works for Jackson “sooner or later.” Jackson signed a five-year, $260 million contract extension in 2023 and is under contract through the 2027 season. That said, with a league salary cap that is likely to see a continued increase in the coming seasons, the Ravens would be wise to give Jackson a new deal before his current one nears expiration. Jackson, 28, is a two-time MVP who nearly won a third MVP after a 2024 season in which he threw for 4,172-41-4 while adding another 915 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. His 2026 cap number balloons to $74.650 million, but that number can likely be reduced with a new deal, creating added incentive for the Ravens to get something done.

“He’s just too good of a player,” Harbaugh added. The Ravens have said all the right things on keeping Andrews this offseason despite a trade making some sense. It’s possible Baltimore works out an extension. With Isaiah Likely in the final year of his rookie contract, it’s also possible that Baltimore simply lets Andrews play out the final year of his contract. They could then work to re-sign the younger Likely. Either way, with the threat of a trade seemingly gone, Andrews remains a midrange TE1 for fantasy purposes heading into the draft.

“We thought we had the quarterback, we didn’t and we gave up a lot of draft picks to get him. So we’ve got to dig ourselves out of that hole. (It) was an entire organization decision and it ends with Dee and I, so hold us accountable,” Haslam continued. How we’re supposed to be holding an NFL owner accountable aside, we’ve heard all offseason that the Browns would likely never let Watson play another meaningful snap. The owner talking about Watson in the past tense is truly confirmation that this is over. Cleveland would roll out Kenny Pickett as their starter if the season started tomorrow, but thankfully for them, it doesn’t.

Williams overcame disappointing 2022 and 2023 campaigns to finally put together a strong season in 2024. The former first-round pick caught 58 passes for 1,001 yards and seven touchdowns while averaging 17.3 YPR — the fourth-highest YPR amongst receivers with 50 or more targets. Williams will have a chance to duplicate that success next season and can then play out the 2026 season on his fifth-year option if the Lions prefer to see a bit more out of him before signing him to a long-term deal. Williams is an explosive playmaker who turned in six top-24 PPR performances last season. As long as he continues to share the field with Amon-Ra St. Brown and Sam LaPorta, Williams will likely remain a boom-or-bust fantasy option.

The Steelers are still waiting on a decision from Aaron Rodgers, who is far and away their best veteran option now that Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston are with the Giants and Justin Fields is with the Jets. The Steelers brought back Mason Rudolph on a two-year deal earlier this offseason, but Rudolph is little more than a reliable backup at this stage in his career. He’s appeared in 29 games while making 18 starts and has a career passing line of 4,615-28-20. If Rodgers doesn’t join the Steelers, other veteran quarterbacks still available include Drew Lock, Joe Flacco, and Carson Wentz, to name a few.

This was to be expected. Aiyuk has been the subject of trade rumors this offseason, but with the 49ers set to pay him a $22.85 million bonus on April 1 and no trade offers of note currently on the table, the Niners will prepare to keep the star receiver on the roster this upcoming season. Aiyuk suffered a torn ACL and MCL last season and likely won’t even be ready at the start of the season as he continues to rehab. Lynch said Aiyuk did “very well” at his latest check-in with Dr. ElAttrache, whom he has worked with since his injury. With Deebo Samuel now in Washington and Ricky Pearsall entering his second season, Aiyuk should be in line to see plenty of targets once he’s healthy and back in action.
