
Charlie "The Spaniard" Brenneman will look to get back on track next month when he meets Daniel "Ninja" Roberts at UFC on FX on Jan. 20, NBCSports.com has learned from sources close to the event. The UFC has yet to officially announce the welterweight fight.
UFC on FX, headlined by Jim Miller, a teammate of Brenneman's at AMA Fight Club, facing Melvin Guillard, airs live on the cable network from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN. No word just yet on if the Brenneman-Roberts tilt will air on the main card or not.
In total, four AMA Fight Club members will compete on the card: Miller, Brenneman, Rafaello Oliveira (vs. Reza Madadi) and Khabib Nurmagomedov (vs. Kamal Shalorus).

Roberts (12-3) is stuck in a two-fight losing streak after winning three in a row. He dropped unanimous decisions to Claude Patrick in April and Rich Attonito in June.
Other fights scheduled for the UFC's debut on FX are Pat Barry vs. Christian Morecraft, Duane Ludwig vs. Josh Neer and Mike Brown vs. Vagner Rocha.
