Dulac is speaking specifically about Rodgers and the Steelers. “The offer has been made,” Dulac reports. “It’s about Rodgers taking his good ol’ time about making a decision.” In typical Rodgers fashion, he is keeping the Steelers, Giants and supposedly maybe even the Vikings in suspense. The act can’t go on much longer than another day or two, but there haven’t been any indications a decision is imminent. Ultimately, the tea leaves seem to suggest Pittsburgh. Stay tuned.

Despite his strong play, the Eagles were hit on multiple corners in the draft and wanted more cap space over retaining Slay. He stays in Pennsylvania with a starting role for the Steelers on tap for 2025.

The Jags parted ways with Engram last week to free up just under $6 million in cap space. The veteran tight end was coming off a down season marred by injuries and Jacksonville had Brenton Strange waiting in the wings. Despite the disappointing end to his Jaguars tenure, Engram had multiple suitors in free agency including the Broncos and Chargers. He now heads to Denver where Sean Payton has been yearning to find a player to fill his joker role ever since he signed on with the team. Engram is in line for plenty of short-area targets and screens as a potential YAC creator for Bo Nix. If he can earn enough volume, Engram should stick at the back of the TE1 ranks for at least one more year. The new deal includes $16.5 million in guaranteed money.

It’s a miniscule swap of picks for the former No. 23 overall pick, but Elam failed to find his footing in Buffalo and the Bills were more than ready to move on. Elam only appeared in 29 games through three seasons with the Bills. He missed time due to injuries but was also a healthy scratch at times. A trade was the best outcome for all involved. Elam will now look to revive his career in Dallas while the Cowboys are hoping to buy low on a former first-round selection.

The move, according to ESPN’s Field Yates, will save $49.4 million against the salary cap in 2025. The team redid Mahomes’ deal after splurging in free agency on LT Jaylon Moore and CB Kristian Fulton, among other players. Mahomes had been slated to count as a $66 million cap hit in 2025. Mahomes, who turns 30 in September, is signed through the 2031 season.

Bosa was being pursued by the 49ers and Dolphins after being released by the Chargers, but ultimately the Bills were able to land the 29-year-old sack artist. Bosa has dealt with injuries over the past three years, but he was still able to pick up 34 quarterback pressures in 2024. He’ll be tasked with getting to the quarterback with Buffalo, and he’ll join Gregory Rousseau along with AJ Epenesa and recently-acquired defender Michael Hoecht to form one of the better pass-rushing groups in the AFC.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, $6 million of the $9.5 is guaranteed. The 30-year-old wideout joins the 49ers from division-rival Los Angeles, and he’s coming off a season where he picked up 505 yards and seven touchdowns on 31 catches for the Rams in 2024. He’ll likely be the third wideout for the 49ers to open the season, and while he could be a weapon utilized in the red zone, his target share likely won’t be enough to make him a consistent fantasy option next season.
