Dustin Moseley to have season-ending surgery
Dustin Moseley - S - San Diego Padres

The San Diego Union-Tribune is reporting that Dustin Moseley will have season-ending surgery to repair his left (non-pitching) shoulder.

The surgery ideally will prevent future dislocations in that shoulder. Moseley, who will turn 30 in December, finishes 2011 with career bests in ERA (3.30) and WHIP (1.28) in 120 innings. However, poor run support led to a 3-10 record, as the Padres scored one or fewer runs in half of his 20 starts.
