Indians join the hunt for Rays OF B.J. Upton
B.J. Upton - OF - Tampa Bay Rays
July 23, 2011 - 4:20 PM ET

Ken Rosenthal said on the FOX Saturday Baseball broadcast that the Indians have interest in B.J. Upton.

Rosenthal also confirmed a report from ESPN's Buster Olney that Upton will -- with certainly -- be traded at this year's deadline. The news comes on the heels of Desmond Jennings' sudden callup. Upton, 26, has a disappointing .712 OPS in 94 games for the Rays this season but may finally peak with a change of scenery.
