D. Cleary wishes he had surgery in November

In retrospect, Daniel Cleary wishes he had surgery on his knee back in November.
Cleary will instead undergo surgery this week. "Looking back, I was hoping it would calm down," Cleary said. "It just didn't." Cleary played through the injury, but by his own admission the injury made it difficult to play. After breaking out in 2010-11, Cleary ended up with just 12 goals and 33 points in 75 games in 2011-12. If his knee isn't an issue next season, then might reach the 40-point mark.
