Left winger Brandon Dubinsky may be scratched from the New York Rangers' lineup this afternoon because of a leg injury.
The Rangers open their second-round playoff series today against the Washington Capitals. Also questionable for Game 1 of this showdown is New York center Brian Boyle (concussion). If both Boyle and Dubinsky need to miss the first game of the series, then odds are Stu Bickel will move from his place on defense to be a fourth-line winger, while Steve Eminger would take his spot on the backline. The hard-nosed Bickel played a handful of games this season at forward, and Eminger declared himself "100 percent" recovered from his right ankle injury that has kept him out of the lineup since March 15. The other option up front would be slow-footed enforcer John Scott.
