The only hit that he allowed came on a solo home run off the bat of Elly De La Cruz in the second inning, aside from that Miller was incredible. He got six swings and misses on 91 pitches on the impressive day, posting a solid CSW of 30 percent. Miller has been outstanding through his first four starts on the season, registering a 1.85 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and a 24/7 K/BB ratio over 24 1/3 innings. He’ll look to keep the good times rolling when he squares off against the Rangers in Arlington on Wednesday.

Judge stepped to the plate to face Blue Jays lefty Tim Mayza with two outs in the ninth inning of a tie ballgame, and wound up coming through with an infield single down the left-field line that scored two runs on the play, putting New York ahead for good in this one. The 31-year-old former AL MVP’s ice-cold start at the dish has been well-documented so far, so he certainly needed a moment like this in a big spot. It was his lone hit in five at-bats, but Judge certainly came through when it mattered most.

Soto also drew a pair of walks, reaching base safely in all five of his plate appearances in this one. The 25-year-old fantasy superstar put the Yankees on the scoreboard in the fifth inning with a run-scoring double off Blue Jays starter Kevin Gausman before taking lefty reliever Génesis Cabrera deep for a solo shot -- his fourth big fly of the season -- in the eighth inning. He also drew a pivotal two-out walk in the ninth inning against lefty Tim Mayza to set up ensuing batter Aaron Judge’s go-ahead two-run single.

Ruiz made a big-time statement by ordering a combo meal in his first start since being recalled earlier this week from Triple-A Las Vegas. The 25-year-old speedster walloped a two-run blast off Cardinals starter Steven Matz in the third inning, homering for the second time in three games since returning to the big leagues, and also picked up a stolen base later in the contest. The central question moving forward for fantasy managers is whether Ruiz can continue to hit for some semblance of power, while also improving his plate skills to the point that his game-changing speed makes a long-term difference for the rebuilding Athletics. He’s certainly worthy of a speculative roster spot in all fantasy formats on the possibility that he’ll stay on Oakland’s roster for the remainder of the season.

Miller was called upon to protect a three-run lead in the final frame and wound up working around a leadoff walk to Iván Herrera by striking out Masyn Winn, coaxing a harmless fly out from Alec Burleson and whiffing Brendan Donovan to preserve the victory. The hard-throwing 25-year-old righty, who touched triple digits 12 times in this outing, has quickly blossomed into one of the most exciting pitchers in the game. There’s a chance he’s already an elite fantasy closer. He’s converted all four of his save opportunities this season to go along with a 17/4 K/BB ratio across nine innings (seven appearances).

Abrams welcomed Dodgers rookie Logan Knack to the majors with a 392-foot leadoff blast to right-center field. The 23-year-old rapidly emerging five-category fantasy superstar has gone deep in two of his last three games. He’s batting .295 (18-for-60) with 10 runs scored, five homers, 11 RBI and three steals through 15 contests.

Kansas City’s captain clobbered a no-doubter to left field off White Sox burgeoning relief ace Michael Kopech in the eighth inning to put the Royals ahead for good in the opening contest of Wednesday’s twin bill. It’s an even more impressive feat considering the 33-year-old veteran backstop is playing through a Grade 1 left groin strain that he suffered earlier this week. He’s off to a remarkable start at the plate so far, posting a .953 OPS with nine runs scored, five homers and 17 RBI through 17 contests.

Bryant exited last Saturday’s game against the Blue Jays with back tightness after he crashed into the outfield wall. He wasn’t in the lineup for any of Colorado’s games against Philadelphia and it appears the team wants it veteran to get some rest before returning to action. Injuries have plagued Bryant for the past several seasons and this injury just adds to that concern for the 32-year-old.

San Diego will be without one of their top pitchers for at least the next couple of weeks. Darvish has struggled to start the season positing a 4.18 ERA with a 22/10 K/BB ratio in 23 2/3 innings. He was slated to start on Saturday against the Blue Jays, so we’ll have to wait and see if the team uses Long Gillaspie in a spot start or if they turn to Joe Musgrove who is projected to get the start on Sunday.

Devers was 1-for-2 with a two-run double and a pair of walks before being replaced by Bobby Dalbec at third base in the eighth inning. The big concern here is that his removal from the contest isn’t related to the shoulder issue that kept him out for a couple games last week. There should be an update on his status following the contest.
