Alan Anderson was on fire in Friday's loss to the Knicks, shooting 11-of-18 from the field for a career-high 35 points with six boards, three assists, one steal, one block and six 3-pointers in 36 minutes.
He put up 20 points in the third quarter and he attempted a whopping 11 shots from downtown. Rudy Gay did not return with a back injury and Anderson made it abundantly clear that he would be the beneficiary. We don't know how bad Rudy's back is, so we wouldn't say "run, don't walk" to go and grab Anderson, but you should be walking at a fairly brisk pace in just about all leagues.
