Corey Brewer scored a career-high 29 points with one board, five steals and five 3-pointers in 33 minutes against the Sixers on Thursday.
He was fouled on a 3-pointer by Damien Wilkins with 2.1 seconds left and made all three to give Denver the lead for good. The Nuggets extended their winning streak to 14 games and are playing the best basketball in the NBA this side of the Miami Heat. Brewer benefited from Wilson Chandler being out and with Chandler expected to miss more time, he's worth a long look in standard leagues.
