"The Spaniard" is coming home.

Pennsylvania-native Charlie Brenneman will replace Matt Riddle against TJ Grant at next month's UFC on Versus 4 in Pittsburgh. MMA Diehards first reported the news Friday morning.

Brenneman, who hails from Hollidaysburg, Pa., located approximately 95 miles east of Pittsburgh, is 2-1 in the UFC and 13-2 overall. The welterweight most recently defeated Amilcar Alves via unanimous decision at Fight for the Troops 2 in January.

"Long time coming," Brenneman told NBCSports.com. "I live in New Jersey, away from everything I grew up with. The training and people here have been tremendous, but I do miss home. It will be another dream come true to perform for my people in Pennsylvania. I'm hoping Spaniard Nation is in full tilt come June 26."

According to Riddle's manager Malki Kawa, the reason why Riddle pulled out of the fight was because his injured hand had not yet fully healed. As a result, his doctor has advised him to to train lightly for another four weeks.

Grant (16-5) is coming off a loss to Ricardo Almeida at UFC 124 in December. He is 3-3 in the UFC.

The fight is not expected to air on the televised portion of the card.

UFC on Versus 4, headlined by Nate Marquardt vs. Anthony Johnson, takes place June 26 at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh. The main card will air live on Versus.
