Paul George started slow on Saturday, but by the time the buzzer sounded he had 18 points on 6-of-17 shooting, two 3-pointers, 14 rebounds, eight assists and one steal.
Danny Granger (knee) quickly went from being a potential nuisance to a non-factor, confirming our impression that George's value is essentially Granger-proof going forward. The Pacers are struggling to fill seats for their home games, let alone attract national attention, but they've quietly moved into second-place in the East.
