Updating a previous post, Kobe Bryant (sprained ankle) is active and in the starting lineup Friday night.
Lakers coach Mike D'Antoni said during his pregame presser he believes Kobe will be productive and not a "decoy." All of this comes only two days after the Lakers termed Bryant "out indefinitely" with a "severe" ankle sprain. Count us amazed at the sheer will it must take to play through that injury. Although D'Antoni thinks he'll be productive, there's no way Kobe will be 100 percent, which means Dwight Howard could be in for an increased role in the Lakers' offense Friday.
