DeRosa lands on DL with wrist inflammation

Giants placed 3B Mark DeRosa on the 15-day disabled list with wrist cartilage inflammation.
DeRosa's surgically-repaired wrist is structurally intact, but some surrounding soreness is causing him discomfort. The new developments will almost certainly kill whatever trade talks the Giants had going this week with the Marlins. DeRosa, 36, could be out a while.
