Kyrie Irving admits knee not 100 percent
Kyrie Irving - G - Cleveland Cavaliers
March 8, 2013 - 8:40 AM ET

Kyrie Irving (knee) admitted that he's not 100 percent, but the Cavs do not intend to shut him down and Irving intends to continue playing.

"I'm trying not to let it bother me," he said. "It's still bruised. The only way it'll get better is to sit out the rest of the season, and I'm not doing that." Irving has had some durability issues in his brief NBA career, and while the knee is concerning, he's not planning on shutting it down at the moment. Things could change if Irving's knee worsens or the Cavs decide simply not to risk Irving's long-term health, so owners should be paying very close attention to this situation.
