Patterson takes advantage of Cousins benching

Patrick Patterson had 15 points, eight rebounds, four assists, a steal, a block and three 3-pointers on 6-of-10 shooting as DeMarcus Cousins was randomly benched for the Kings on Wednesday.
DMC didn't play at all in the second or fourth quarter tonight, as Keith Smart liked what he was seeing from the hot Patterson. Tonight's line is what we were generally expecting from Patterson earlier in the season when he was with the Rockets, although he was sidelined with a foot injury that slowed his roll. Cousins isn't going to be benched again on Friday against the Suns, so don't expect Patterson to do this very often, especially with Jason Thompson also playing so well.
