Carmelo Anthony (knee) won't play against the Pistons on Wednesday.
Coach Mike Woodson revealed earlier Wednesday that Melo is deal with a small buildup of fluid behind his right knee, which is making it sore and stiff. With a game against the Thunder looming on Thursday, it makes sense to hold him out of the first half of the back to back and hope he can play against OKC. Kurt Thomas will start in his place Wednesday night.
