According to Yahoo Sports, the Bucks are prepared to pay impending free agent J.J. Redick "as a starting shooting guard."
The Bucks didn't do the deadline trade with Orlando in order to rent Redick. They want him to be a core piece for the long-term. Per Adrian Wojnarowski, only one of Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis will be back with the Bucks next season. He adds that if Redick wants to leave Milwaukee, he'll have to accept "a lot" less money. Redick's Dynasty arrow is pointing up.
