Melky Cabrera thinks he struggled last year in Atlanta because he got "a little bit fat."
Cabrera thinks weight will no longer be an issue after he worked hard over the offseason to shed pounds. "For three months in Miami," he said, "I really worked hard. Sunday was a day off, but every other day ' hard work. I was 215 to 220 (pounds) last year. Now, I'm 200. Now, I'm skinny." Cabrera is slated to be the Royals' Opening Day center fielder, though it's only a matter of time before he's replaced by Lorenzo Cain.
