Jermaine O'Neal keeps it up with 22 points
Feb. 28, 2013 - 3:55 AM ET

Jermaine O'Neal played 27 minutes in a win over the Spurs, shooting 8-of-14 from the field for 22 points with 13 boards and two blocks.

After the game Lindsey Hunter said he liked having Jermaine O'Neal playing in the low post to help create spacing for their shooters and it worked out nicely in a shocking road win. JO looks to be healthy for the first time this decade and he's worth a look in standard leagues as long as he's active. But we're not about to tell you we're not concerned about his daughter scheduled for heart surgery on March 5, which could result in some DNPs, or possibly a full shutdown. Grabbing O'Neal and planning on riding him the rest of the way is a textbook definition of a risk vs. reward play.
