Amare Stoudemire is on a 30-minute cap for the rest of the season, according to Mike Woodson.
Reportedly, the determination to cap STAT's minutes was made by a combination of GM Glen Grunwald, Woodson and the medical staff led by Dr. Lisa Callahan. Since returning, Amare has not played more than 30 minutes in any game with his most playing time being 29.5 minutes this year. The cap is designed to keep Stoudemire fresh for the rest of the season. "I can't go over 30 for his sake as far as physical condition is concerned," Woodson said.
