Taj Gibson (MCL sprain) out up to two weeks
Taj Gibson - F - Chicago Bulls
Feb. 25, 2013 - 10:10 PM ET

Taj Gibson was diagnosed with a sprained MCL in his left knee and he is expected to miss up to two weeks.

He has been an important part of Chicago's frontcourt depth, averaging 28 minutes per game in the month of February. While Carlos Boozer and Joakim Noah are healthy now, Noah's plantar fasciitis will be under a microscope now that he doesn't have a capable backup behind him. Nazr Mohammed could play more and the Bulls have used Jimmy Butler at power forward as well.
