Report: Padres reach out to Bengie Molina

The Padres have reached out to Bengie Molina, but were told that he's not inclined to play at this time, according to Marty Caswell of XX1090 Sports Radio in San Diego.
The Padres are in search of catching help now that Gregg Zaun has retired, but it sounds like Molina is close to retirement. As of now, Rob Johnson, Kyle Phillips and Guillermo Quiroz are the best internal candidates to back up Nick Hundley.
