Dwight Howard said that his conditioning has lost the Lakers "a lot of games" this year.
"Unfortunately it cost us a lot of games," Howard said. "The better shape I'm in, the more I'm able to do. But it was a struggle at first because I just didn't have it in the tank." Comments like these aren't going to endear himself to the Lakers fans and it's tough to hear he's not giving it his all considering he's in a contract year. Howard did show some signs of pain in his right shoulder on Friday and he'll likely have to deal with the injury all year.
