Angels manager Mike Scioscia has disputed a report from SI.com's Jon Heyman that Kendry Morales (leg) is "very unlikely" to be ready for Opening Day.
Scioscia thinks his first baseman still has time to make the necessary progress, which is in line with what the manager said a little over a week ago. Morales has been battling the flu lately that has stalled his recovery, but the leg is obviously the major concern. We'll have a clearer picture of his status as we get closer to Opening Day.
