Thompson nears double double on Friday

Jason Thompson scored nine points on 3-of-9 shooting with 10 rebounds and two blocks in 30 minutes on Friday.
Thompson has earned the starting spot in his teammates' eyes, but there is no telling what Keith Smart will do when Patrick Patterson arrives. There is no management component to the Kings at all right now, so it's unclear if there will be an internal push to prove their trade wasn't a classless salary dump. Thompson is putting up decent numbers right now, so give him a look.
