Coach Doc Rivers confirmed that newly acquired SG Jordan Crawford will play a bench role for the Celtics.
As we previously noted, Crawford is a low-percentage volume shooter that fits best with a second unit. Beat writer Chris Forsberg projects roughly 20 minutes per night for the man that quickly fell out of favor in Washington. "We don't have that wild card off the bench. And I'm hoping [Crawford] gives us that," Rivers said. Unless Avery Bradley, Courtney Lee or Jason Terry go down, there's not a ton of fantasy upside in Crawford.
