Kobe Bryant made an emotional speech regarding the passing of Dr. Jerry Buss prior to Wednesday's game and then hit 5-of-15 shots and zero 3-pointers for 16 points, four rebounds and seven assists.
Kobe has hit just one 3-pointer in his last 34 attempts from downtown and still seems to be torn between being a point guard and a dominant scorer. He's still putting up solid numbers and it should only be a matter of time before he starts scoring at will again. The Lakers are 26-29 and sit four games behind the Rockets for the final playoff spot in the West, but played well as a team tonight. Maybe they can keep it going the rest of the way, and getting inspiration from the loss of Buss could help.
