Dion Waiters doesn't expect to hit the 'rookie wall' this season, but he admitted that he's still learning how to properly condition himself throughout an NBA season.
Conditioning was an issue for Waiters during Summer League, and Byron Scott mentioned it again during the preseason, but he's slowly improved while playing almost 30 minutes per game. After maintaining an appropriate level of fitness, the next key for Waiters is knocking down jump shots with greater consistency -- he's shooting below 40 percent from the field this season, and just 30.9 percent from beyond the arc.
