Dwyane Wade fine with taking less shots
Dwyane Wade - G - Miami Heat
Feb. 16, 2013 - 12:20 PM ET

Dwyane Wade said he is content with his diminished offensive role because the Heat "are in the midst of doing" something special.

Wade says he feels like he can still score 30 points whenever he wants, but that's not his job on this team. He's attempting just 15.6 shots a night, the lowest number since his rookie year in 2003-04. That's led to 21.0 points per game, also a low since he was at 16.2 ppg as a rookie. Still, Wade has missed just four games all season and is one only seven players averaging 20+ points, 4+ rebounds and 4+ assists. He's been a top-25 fantasy asset.
