Report: NBA informed Melo will play Sunday
Carmelo Anthony - F - New York Knicks
Feb. 14, 2013 - 7:10 PM ET

A source tells Frank Isola of the New York Daily News the NBA has been informed Carmelo Anthony (arm) intends to play in Sunday's All-Star Game.

Anthony suffered was he called a "contusion on his biceps" during Wednesday's game and said it bothered him for the whole game while occasionally causing "dead arm." Anthony isn't scheduled to take part in any other events this weekend besides the game, so he should have plenty of time to heal in time for the main attraction Sunday. Also, if Melo is healthy enough to play Sunday, he should be good to go for the Knicks and fantasy owners after the break.
