Chauncey Billups returned from a back injury and started for the Clippers, finishing with season highs of 19 points and four 3-pointers, along with one rebound and two assists on 6-of-9 shooting Wednesday.
He missed his previous game with a bad back and had scored a total of 15 points in his two games since returning from a foot injury, so we were surprised by this one. He's played in just five games this season, and while owners of Jamal Crawford should take notice, we doubt Billups plays this well consistently. Just keep an eye on him in case this becomes the norm instead of a fluke, but he will likely have trouble staying healthy the rest of the way.
