Feb. 20, 2011 - 3:30 PM ET

Phillies outrighted RHP Andrew Carpenter to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Carpenter cleared waivers after the Phillies DFA'd him last week. The 25-year-old posted a 4.05 ERA and 1.36 WHIP across 151 innings at the Triple-A level last season. The righty was a second round selection of the Phillies back in the 2006 MLB Amateur Draft. He will return to camp as a non-roster player.
