Dwight Howard had 19 points, 18 rebounds, a steal and two blocks on 8-of-15 shooting on a night when Kobe Bryant decided not to shoot and leave things up to his teammates.
This was Howard's second double-double in three games, with his previous one coming way back on Jan. 25, and his best stat line since he had 31 points and 16 boards on Jan. 15. His shoulder may be starting to feel better, but it's important to note that Kobe checked out of this game, failing to shoot until the end and finishing with just one made field goal in eight attempts. Hopefully Howard will be able to keep it going when Kobe starts acting like Kobe, but we're still worried about him making it through the season with his troubling shoulder injury. Consider this an optimum sell-high moment for Howard.
