Blue Jackets owner John McConnell acknowledged and echoed fans disappointment and anger over Columbus' performance this season in a letter to season ticket holders.
McConnell said his franchise has "clearly defined our options and are finalizing our plans." That being said, McConnell declined to engage in specifics for fear it would put the Blue Jackets at a "competitive disadvantage." Columbus has next to no hope of making the playoffs, so it's logical to assume that they'll be sellers from now until the trade deadline.
