Report: Boozer for Bargnani swap 'unlikely'

The Chicago Sun-Times reports that a trade sending Carlos Boozer to the Raptors in exchange for Andrea Bargnani is "unlikely" to happen, while the Chicago Tribune reports that there are "no plans" to amnesty Boozer in the offseason.
We really can't say we're surprised about the trade, but it's interesting to hear such a staunch denial on Boozer as a possible amnesty candidate. The deal makes some sense for both sides, but apparently not enough to pull the trigger. We would love to see Bargnani try and raise his defensive game under Tom Thibodeau, but it sounds like we won't have the opportunity to watch that comedic theatre.
