Rudy Gay hit just 8-of-24 shots and one 3-pointer, but still filled the stat sheet with 25 points, a season-high 12 rebounds, three assists and four steals in 41 minutes on Wednesday.
He also hit all eight of his free throws and has scored between 20 and 29 points in each of his last four games. It looks like the move to Toronto is going to work out well for Gay and his fantasy owners, while tonight was just his fourth double-double of the season. Gay has scored a franchise-record 74 points in his first three games with the Raps, breaking the record of 71 set by teammate Kyle Lowry, who had 17 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, four steals and three 3-pointers tonight.
